Press release, 14 May 2024
SureVision Global (SureVision), an innovative Australian digital screen and media company, has announced a landmark partnership with European-based, multinational technology powerhouse Global Display Solutions (GDS).
SureVision specialises in procuring, installing and operating digital screens across Australia, including shopping centres, airports, office buildings and schools. SureVision also provides modular and permanent LED advertising solutions for stadiums, sport and events, and support and delivery services for advertising rights holders.
GDS is a privately owned Italian company with a global presence spanning twenty countries. As a global leader in digital screen technology, GDS brings a wealth of expertise to the Australian market, continuing its long-term commitment to global leadership in the industry.
This partnership is likely to disrupt the Australian digital screen market, particularly in the shopping centre sector, with SureVision strategically aligning its local expertise and experience with GDS’s global leadership and scale.
Nick Ebbeck, CEO of SureVision Global, is excited to discuss the partnership with existing and prospective SureVision clients.
“Shopping centres are vibrant community hubs, fostering social interactions and diverse communication opportunities. GDS has been at the forefront of European communication innovation for decades. Our partnership stems from recognising the limitations in innovation traditionally offered by local or Asian-based suppliers, and expands both our strategic and product development reach to adopt technologies prevalent in the European and US markets. This collaboration enables us to provide our clients with globally recognised, market-leading technology solutions, with the comfort that their screen technology partner is passionate about continuing to produce and innovate market-leading technology solutions for their clients.”
Ilaria Giambruno, Global DOOH Business Development Manager at GDS, emphasised the company’s commitment to the Australian market.
“With the establishment of our Australian office and showroom, we aim to introduce European design sophistication alongside our flawless systems to this exciting new market. Partnering with SureVision presents an opportunity to showcase our commitment to excellence, accountability and outstanding customer service.”
SureVision’s clientele includes prominent Australian and New Zealand sporting codes, and international sporting events such as the ICC Women’s and Men’s World Cups and the FIFA Women’s World Cup. Its LED perimeter signage installations are prominent around Australia, in landmark venues such as the Sydney Qantas Terminal, Lendlease shopping centres, GPT shopping centres, Wynyard Walk, the Gabba, Townsville’s Queensland Country Bank Stadium and Blundstone Arena.
GDS is broadly recognised as an industry leader in Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) advertising solutions. In 2023 alone, GDS deployed over 500,000 display-based products worldwide. GDS supplies screens to industries including transport, retail, service stations and DOOH advertising, partnering with industry giants like JCDecaux, Clear Channel, oOh!media and Giorgio Armani.
