Media release, November 2025
SureVision Global has acquired the remaining minority shareholdings in MonstaVision, bringing its New Zealand sports technology and media rights business into full ownership and strengthening its operations across the Tasman.
The acquisition supports SureVision’s growth strategy, bringing together expertise, equipment and commercial capabilities across Australia and New Zealand to create new opportunities for sporting codes, venues and partners.
SureVision Group CEO Nick Ebbeck said the move marked an important step in building a more connected sports business.
“SureVision has held a majority stake in MonstaVision since 2016. Taking full ownership gives us greater alignment as we pursue our global growth ambitions and continue building an integrated sports ecosystem,” Ebbeck said.
“Grant Fox and Bob Wilson have transitioned their equity into the SureVision parent company, maintaining their investment in the group and its future.
“Sharing resources, people, equipment and ideas across the Tasman allows us to draw on the strengths of both markets and deliver more for our partners.”
MonstaVision CEO and former All Black Grant Fox said the acquisition would build on the business’s New Zealand foundations.
“From grass painting and static signage to LED, production, content and media rights, MonstaVision has continually evolved alongside New Zealand sport,” Fox said.
“Being fully integrated into SureVision creates opportunities to expand our capabilities, introduce new solutions and help our partners grow. We’re excited about what we can achieve together.”
The acquisition strengthens SureVision’s ability to combine sports technology with commercial rights solutions, supporting its continued development of LED goalposts, LED stumps, super screens and innovative media sales programmes.
